What do we do?

Navigating the stringed instrument world successfully requires time, dedication and market knowledge. As you would expect of specialist consultants, Rose Wright Geigen offers all of this - but also a unique proposition for finding your ideal instrument or bow.

We are buying agents, working exclusively in the interests of the purchaser; we do not hold any stock of our own, so we are free to scour the whole market to find instruments which match your requirements. We then negotiate on your behalf to achieve the best possible price for the violin, viola, cello or bow of your choice.

Whether you are a collector, investor, keen amateur or professional musician, we will advise you knowledgeably - and with enthusiasm - about instruments best suited to your needs and budget. Our clients know that they can rely absolutely on our integrity, expertise and discretion. If we are unable to help, we will say so. Honesty and transparency are our watchwords.

At the same time Rose Wright Geigen looks to play its part in supporting the future of classical music by arranging the free loan of fine instruments to deserving musicians. We aim to match talented players with benefactors who can often derive financial gain as well as pleasure from helping them.

Instruments for loan
